It seems like Tennessee is about to be the only SEC team without a head coach.
Arkansas is working out a deal with Southern Methodist coach Chad Morris to become the Razorbacks’ coach. While this is Morris’ second head coaching job, it is his first in the Power Five.
Arkansas and Chad Morris agree to a deal, and the Hogs plan to annnounce him as head coach later Wednesday, sources tell ESPN.

Morris turned an SMU program from 2-10 in 2015 to 7-5 in 2017. The Mustangs are heading to the Frisco Bowl and it is unlikely Morris will coach in that game.
The Razorbacks will look to improve their status in the SEC and in college football. They have a 29-34 record over the last five seasons and have not ranked higher than third in the SEC West.
Since Arkansas now has a head coach, Tennessee is the only SEC team without one.
