The hot stove has been anything but this MLB offseason. I mean, the most activity we’ve had is Doug Fister signing with the Texas Rangers. Seriously, that’s it. But, it now appears we know a little more about Giancarlo Stanton’s situation. Sort of.

Now a couple of weeks ago, it was reported that he didn’t want to play in either Boston or St. Louis. Of course, we aren’t certain that those reports are entirely true. However, it appears the Dodgers are the front-runner for the time being. That’s just what the World Series runners-up need, right?
Still, the Dodgers are yet to make an offer. And for the time being, there is no traction on the NL MVP going anywhere.
That said, it seems as though his days in Miami are coming to an end.
