Earlier this week, speculation would run rampant over Conor McGregor’s alleged bar brawl in Ireland. But it wouldn’t just be any brawl, of course. With this Irishman, how could it be? But here’s the gist: Conor punched a cartel henchman in the face.
And yet, that may not even be the biggest (or strangest) news of the week regarding the UFC superstar. Monday evening, UFC President Dana White would address his most popular fighter’s future. Or, potentially, the lack thereof.
“Listen, Conor might never fight again. He made $100 [expletive] million. I’ve got guys who made less than that who are lawyers and went to school their whole lives and quit working.”
White goes on to say that he likes McGregor a lot. And, that they are still negotiating a new contract for the superstar. But, a deal doesn’t appear to be all that close. However, White did stress how much Conor is worth—even if he wouldn’t give him a share of the company.
“Conor can’t be paid enough money. He’s worth every penny and more.”
So, have we seen McGregor in the Octagon for the last time?
