The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently on an 11-game win streak. And now, it appears that more help is on its way. However, will they need it?
Monday, it was announced that Derrick Rose was returning to the team. This announcement, of course, comes almost a week and a half after leaving the team. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Rose would take his exist. Additionally, his next move would become uncertain.
Would re rejoin and continue rehabbing his injured ankle? Or, would he call it quits on his NBA career altogether? Well it appears we (and the Cavaliers) have our answer. For now.
So, what’s the reason he left in the first place? The same reason it always is. And, continues to be. Injuries. Injuries are taking his career away, it seems, one week at a time. Which begs the question: how much does he have left in the tank?
It looks like we are about to find out. In the meantime, the Cavs will take on Rose’s old team—Chicago—later tonight. Obviously, the returning guard will not be taking part.
