GM LeBron James is going to be a trip.
Saturday night, after his Cavs defeated the Mavericks 111-104, LeBron had some words for the Knicks. Now, why is that? Because rookie Dennis Smith, Jr. is a Maverick, and the king believes he should be a Knick.
“The Knicks passed on a really good one, and Dallas got the diamond in the rough. He should be a Knick. That’s going to make some headlines, but he should be a Knick. Dallas is definitely, I know they’re excited that he didn’t go there.”
New York’s Enes Kanter, however, didn’t take long to respond.
We love what we got…

“…an unbelievable talent [with] athleticism,” LeBron would continue.
“He’s very poised to be his age, can shoot the ball, penetrate. He’s only going to get better and better with the opportunity that he’s getting here. Dallas got a good one. I’ve been knowing that. I’ve been with him for so long now.”
The Cavs take on the Knicks Monday night at Madison Square Garden. But this time, there’s added drama. Moreover, the Cavs are still trying to find their groove.
