But it looks like Toronto tried to remedy part of the problem last summer. According to this latest report, the Raptors were exploring the trade market for shooting guard DeMar DeRozan.
“Still reeling after being swept out of the NBA playoffs, the Toronto Raptors were reportedly considering major changes involving DeMar DeRozan last year.”
That’s not all, though. Toronto could very well be open to it again this offseason. This past season, DeRozan would average 23 points per game on 45.6 percent shooting from the field. And, just 31.2 percent from three-point range. But the Raptors, once again, would fall to LeBron James and the Cavaliers.
So if it’s time to start making moves, getting rid of DeRozan probably isn’t a bad start.
The question is: Will any team bite?
