The New England Patriots start their offseason program on Monday. But tight end Rob Gronkowski isn’t going to be there. In fact, he doesn’t know when he’s going to show up.
“Like Patriotsa QB Tom Brady, TE Rob Gronkowski will not attend the start of New Englandas off-season program Monday, per source.”
Obviously, there’s a big difference in reasons between Brady and Gronkowski.
“Gronkowski still is considering whether to play the upcoming 2018 season, and has had a?good communicationa? with the Patriots, per source.”
These days, Gronk has nothing to prove. But all offseason, reports would suggest that he and coach Bill Belichick are at odds.
“However, this dose of good news for Patriots fans comes with some dilution: Lingering frustrations remain between Gronkowski and head coach Bill Belichick, along with others in the Patriots organization. a Whether those frustrations on either side will impact Gronkowskias return to the team remains the final piece to this unfinished puzzle.
“For Belichick, sources say he has expressed frustration with those close to him about Gronkowski, specifically questioning whether he remains a?all-ina.” buy baclofen online without prescription, buy lioresal online.
Gronk has suffered multiple concussions over his eight-year career. But these aren’t his only injuries. And in eight seasons, he has played in all 16 games just once. But all the while, he has put up HOF numbers. Four seasons have seen him produce 1,000-plus receiving yards. And thatas not all. The All-Pro tight end also has five seasons of 10-plus touchdowns, including a league-leading 17 in 2011.
The Patriots need him. And while he’ll arrive to camp soon enough, is that going to be good enough for Belichick?
