There’s some reason for optimism this offseason if you’re a Cleveland Browns fan. For starters, there’s a new regime in town. And, even better, it’s one that wants to add quality football players. Players such as Tyrod Taylor, Jarvis Landry and first overall pick Baker Mayfield. But at the end of the day, the Browns are still the Browns. And until they win a game during the 2018 regular season, nobody will forget it.
In the meantime, we have this to look forward to: the Browns will be featured on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks.’
Are you ready?
Of course, this announcement comes just a couple weeks after GM John Dorsey’s condemning words about the show. Per The Score’s Michael McClymont:
“I don’t think there’s anything good that comes out of ‘Hard Knocks,’ but we’ll see. … You know what, they’ll do that, but it’s OK. I’m OK with it. I mean … it is what it is, but I’m OK with it.”
So, who wants to gather ’round and watch even more of the worst football team from a season ago? After all, it can only get better from here, right? Time will certainly tell. However, the Browns probably don’t want to many distractions heading into the 2018 season. So, it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
