Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone isn’t worried about Tom Brady missing Sunday’s game. In fact, he’s downright positive the 40-year-old would suit up regardless of the injury to his throwing hand.
“I’m sure he could probably throw left-handed if he has a problem with his right hand and throw just as well.”
That’s how confident Marrone is that his side will have to deal with Brady on Sunday. Of course, when it comes to confidence, nobody seems to be in short supply heading into this one. Jacksonville’s All-Pro DB, Jalen Ramsey, promises a Super Bowl victory. But Brady is more worried about how he and his Patriots play. Meanwhile, New England DB Malcolm Butler says Ramsey needs to humble himself.
In other words, Sunday afternoon promises to be exciting.
But in the meantime, we’re going to monitor Brady’s status ahead of the AFC title game. On Thursday, the 18-year veteran would miss team practice.
However, his team expects him to be good to goon Sunday.
