The Saints are 7-2 and will be getting a lot of a love the next few weeks. Just not in primetime.
The NFL announced today that they have flexed Week 12’s Saints-Rams game to 4:25pm ET on FOX. This will likely make this game the national game for the FOX double-header. As for the corresponding move, Titans-Colts will now be a 1pm ET FOX game.
But wait, there’s more love for NOLA. The NFL also flexed their Week 13 match against the Panthers to 4:25pm ET on FOX. With this game running along side Rams-Cardinals and Giants-Raiders, this will also likely be the primary game for FOX’s doubleheader. Broncos-Dolphins was adjusted to 1pm ET on FOX.

The moves are hardly surprising as the Saints, Rams, and Panthers are among five NFC teams with seven or more wins through ten weeks. The Saints, specifically, just beat down the Bills in glorious fashion, so it’ll be nice to watch them against more elite teams.
Unfortunately, the move means we will still see the Brett Hundley-led Packers face the Steelers in primetime Week 12. At least Eagles-Seahawks will make up for it the following week.
