The Seattle Seahawks are tearing it all down. They have already traded DE Michael Bennett to the Eagles. They are listening to offers on safety Earl Thomas. But most unsurprisinglyanow, anywayathey are releasing Richard Sherman. In fact, now he knows.
Seahawks have informed perennial Pro-Bowl CB Richard Sherman that they are releasing him today, per league sources.
End has come for one of the most iconic players in Seattle sports history.

Sherman has spent the entirety of his seven-year career with the Seahawks. But now, his time is up. However, Seattle doesn’t discount the possibility of bringing him back. And while his 2017 campaign would endure a season-ending injury, he has plenty left in the tank.
After all, he only turns 30 this March. So, where does he land?
