As if Michael Bisping doesn’t have enough to worry about with a much anticipated title defense coming in less than two weeks against returning legend Georges St-Pierre.
A lawsuit recently filed in Orange County California by college student Antonio Georgakopoulos accuse the UFC middleweight king of assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The complaint claims Bisping called Georgakopoulos an “idiot” and a “punk” after the college student took his weights. At some point during the altercation, Bisping allegedly choked Georgakopoulos for “two to three seconds.”
Police were called to the scene but no charges were filed due to lack of evidence.
The UFC and parent company WME-IMG, as well as the gym where the incident occurred, 24 Hour Fitness, were also named as defendants.
